I’m Zeshan Ullah Qureshi, a humanities scholar focusing on philology, religion and intellectual history.

I spent more than a decade in the Middle East, culminating in an MA in Islamic Legal Theory from the Islamic University of Madinah. Then I pursued a PhD in Islamic Legal Theory from a Malaysian university.

Currently, I am working in my home country Norway as a Doctoral Research Fellow in Religious Studies, pursuing my second PhD, with a focus on orientalism, Qurʾān translation and tafsīr.
