Explore research, reflections, and personal insights that bridge traditional Islamic scholarship and modern academia.

I’m Zeshan Ullah Qureshi. I spent over a decade in the Middle East immersing myself in the Islamic sciences, ending with a MA in Islamic Legal Theory from the Islamic University of Madinah. Today, I am waiting to defend my PhD dissertation in Islamic Legal Theory from Malaysia, which I recently submitted. Additionally, I am working on a second PhD in Religious Studies from Norway. Both PhDs reflect a deliberate bridging of scholarly traditions. Together, they enable me to engage both classical Islamic scholarship and contemporary academic methods, situating Islamic thought within a global intellectual context.
